Mrs. Amanda Segler
John G. Tower Elementary

Mrs. Segler is a Pre-Kindergarten teacher.  She is completing her 7th year with BISD.  She holds a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies with a major in English from Midwestern State University.

Mrs. Lisa Crumpler
I.C. Evans Elementary

Mrs. Crumpler is completing her 11th year with BISD and currently teaches 4th grade.  She received her Bachelors in Business Administration from Tarleton State University in 1983, and completed coursework for her teaching certificate in 1997 at Midwestern State University.

Mrs. Tina Saravane - Elementary Teacher of the Year Winner 
John G. Hardin Elementary

Mrs. Saravane is a 2002 graduate of Midwestern State University, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies, Art.  She currently teaches 1st Grade and is completing her 6th year with BISD.

Mrs. Lorinda Neises
Burkburnett Middle School

Mrs. Neises is a 1994 graduate of Midwestern State University.  She holds a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies majoring in English, and is completing her 14th year with BISD.

Mr. James Mize
Alternative Education Center

Mr. Mize is finishing his 10th year with BISD after a long career as a teacher and administrator in Oklahoma.  He received his BA in Education from Southeast Oklahoma State Univerity in 1975, and his Masters in Education in 1980 from the University of Oklahoma.

Mrs. Melinda Kleckner - Secondary Teacher of the Year Winner
Burkburnett High School

Mrs. Kleckner is completing her 7th year with BISD in the Career and Technology Education division.  She holds a BS in Occupational Education with a major in Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University.
