2009-2010 Season Outlook The 2009-2010 Dunkin' Dogs begin this year expecting a terrific season and looking for another deep playoff run. With the loss of two All-State players, Jay Gould (Ranger College) and Aaron Thompson (Sam Houston State), the dogs will have some big shoes to fill from teams that won 31 and 29 games the previous two years. But the Dogs have a lot of returning lettermen who are working extremely hard! Leading the Dogs this year will be returning starter 6'3 Junior Derrell Gibbs and 6'0 Senior Dwayne Johnson. Gibbs and Johnson were the 3rd and 4th leading scorers in 08-09. Returning lettermen include 6'2 Senior Josh Alvarez, 6'4 Senior Dylan Cummins, 5'9 Senior Christian Mendoza, 6'3 Junior Michael Elphick, and 6'3 Sophomore Mario Garcia. Moving up from the JV team are: Seniors: 6'1 Brandon Johnson, 5'11 Mark Broomfield, 6'0 Jake Bishop, and 6'0 David Wiedenbeck Juniors: 6'2 Temi Ogunleye and 5'9 Blake Arbogast. Junior transfers 6'0 Andrew Runyon from Biloxi, MS and 6'1 Jerard Graham from Keiserslautern, Germany will also be a big help to the Dogs. |
