It is not too late to be a part of our team. The impact of extracurricular activities on student success can be measured through improved attendance, higher academic achievement, stronger leadership skills, enhanced teamwork, and meaningful social connections.

📣We’re excited to roll out a new tool that will simplify how we communicate with you. Rooms, built right into our Burkburnett ISD app and website, offers secure and safe two-way messaging.
🐾This addition allows Burkburnett ISD to bring the community closer together. From messages to educators, to events, to lunch menus, and more - everything can now live in one place. Additionally, please ensure your contact information is updated in Skyward, which is linked to Rooms.
➡️Why Rooms?
✅One place for every message. No more juggling multiple communication apps, flipping between inboxes, or remembering different logins.
✅Text notifications. You’ll get notified automatically of new messages even if you haven’t downloaded our district app.
✅Safe and secure. Built-in moderation and other safety tools allow us to ensure safety of all communications, at all times.
➡️What to Expect:
✅Rooms will become our primary method for all communication between staff, coaches, families, and teachers.
🐾We’re excited to bring our communication into one clear, connected experience for you.

Dr. Owen will be LIVE on our Burkburnett ISD Facebook page Monday, August 10 at 12PM. If you have questions for Dr. Owen, please ask them here in the comment section below in advance, and he will address them live. Please keep all questions focused on policies, processes, or facilities at the district or campus level. Dr. Owen will not be answering any questions about specific personnel or student situations.
Dr. Owen will give a district update and then answer your submitted questions, and will end the Bulldog Huddle with a live Q & A that will allow you to ask questions in real-time.
We had group who attended summer ATTACK Camp 100% and even bigger group were recognized for 80% attendance. This is a BIG deal and we want Bulldog Nation to know how hard they worked!

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Licensed Athletic Trainers Brian Deatherage and Keith Gates are graduates of Midwestern State University and bring years of experience working with school-aged athletes. Both are currently serving on our ATTACK Camp staff this summer. During the school year, they will be available to provide care for our athletes at the Bulldog Field House before school, during athletic periods, after school, and at all home athletic events.
In addition to treating athletic injuries, our trainers can assist with orthopedic referrals and serve as a valuable resource for injury prevention, treatment options, and overall athlete wellness.
We encourage all student-athletes to visit with our trainers immediately if they experience any sprains, strains, or other injuries during practices or competitions. Prompt evaluation and treatment can help ensure a safe and effective recovery.
Parents/guardians can email BISD trainers at kgates@unitedregional.org or bdeatherage@unitedregional.org .

We are back! #AttackCamp
