Bulldog Basics Tenets
1. Treat others with kindness.
2. No matter the circumstances, always be honest.
3. Clean up after yourself.
4. Try your best, even when it is difficult.
5. Acknowledge each other in appropriate ways.
6. Be teachable/coachable.
7. Respectfully stand up for what you believe in, while respecting others' comments, opinions, and ideas.
8. If you see a friend struggling, let an adult know.
9. Find the good in others and speak it.
Bulldog Parents, Student-Athletes, and Stakeholders,
As we continue to build a unified Burkburnett Athletic Program and create an environment that emphasizes EXCELLENCE in every sport program, we are excited to take another step forward in our performance training model.
Moving forward, all Burkburnett Athletics Boys' Programs (excluding 9th grade boys) will follow this performance training schedule:
● Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 6:40 - 7:20 AM
This updated schedule will begin immediately and is designed to bring greater consistency and alignment across our boys’ athletic sport programs. When we train together, compete together, and hold one another to the same high standards, we strengthen the culture of Burkburnett Athletics as a whole.
The base bus will run on this schedule as well.
● Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday - depart from El Mejicano at 6:00 AM
Please note that the Lady Bulldog sports' programs will continue their regularly scheduled performance training schedule during first period.

The Word of the Week is ATTITUDE!
ATTITUDE is non-negotiable in the Burkburnett Bulldogs athletic program.
When the situation changes (in the classroom, on the court, on the field, on the track, in LIFE) we have to adjust, adapt and control what we can control. We have to make sure when an opportunity does present itself we take full advantage of it. No opportunities are guaranteed. We must treat each like it may be the last.
Today is a great day and I will make it the best day yet. I will ATTACK this day and make it mine.
Wins and losses will come and go, but the way our student-athletes prepare, compete, and represent our school must always reflect a strong, disciplined, and respectful attitude. We believe attitude influences effort, teamwork, accountability, and ultimately the culture of our program.

When daily decisions are based on these equalities , you will experience lasting rewards.

The BISD Board of Trustees awarded the Design-Build contract for the multipurpose indoor facility last night. Construction on the facility will begin early this fall in the area that is north of the football stadium.
This facility will not only include a full football and soccer field; it will also have a three lane 300-meter track, a girls' soccer locker room, a weight room, and an area for the BHS Drone Team to practice. Multiple student groups, athletic teams, organizations, and events will benefit from this new facility.
BISD thanks our community for providing this unique opportunity.
Our Bulldog cross country teams competed in the Chicken Express 6-Mile Relay this morning! Congratulations to our boys’ team for placing 4th and our girls’ team for placing 3rd! 🐾
We can’t wait to see our Bulldogs showing off their school spirit at school and at each game! All students are encouraged to join in, dress up, and have some fun as we cheer on our Bulldogs! Let’s make this a season to remember! 🐾🔥

1-gallon clear plastic storage bags (4.5" x 6.5" max)
Small purses/clutches - these don't have to be clear (5" x 5" max)
WHAT'S NOT ALLOWED:
All other bags including backpacks, tote bags, camera cases, and more are prohibited, see graphic for details.
*Entrances at all BISD events will allow for screening of any medically necessary items or equipment not able to fit within the bag policy requirements, as well as media personnel

To ensure homeschooled athletes are eligible to participate in UIL sports, please complete the UIL Participant Enrollment form. You can fill out the online form (link below) or fill out the hard copy and return it to your child's coach or the registrar in the front office.
