Special day for Student 2 Student Clubs throughout BISD!
Mayor Kemp signed a proclamation proclaiming all businesses and Burkburnett community will celebrate Purple Up Day on the third Wednesday of every April. Mayor Kemp encouraged everyone to put purple signs, balloons, & lights in their business and home windows.
It was so nice to have all of BISD administration, principals, S2S sponsors, and S2S leaders present to witness this special occasion! This is just another way that Burkburnett Independent School District shows their love and support for military families.
Special thank you to all administration who took time out of their busy day to come witness this special occasion. Also special thanks to Mike Wenk who set this up, and special thanks to Margie Pool who and came in on her day off at City Hall to help this day be possible.
