Student 2 Student Club

If you have a student who will be attending Burkburnett High School, we would love help ease their transition!

All Burkburnett ISD Schools have S2S Clubs who welcome incoming military-connected (active duty, reserves, retired, veterans) students.

Moving to a new school, (especially during your high school years), can be a little overwhelming at times for some teens. Students of this age sometimes worry about who they will sit with at lunch, will they make the new team, or will they friends all while missing the friends they left behind.

While all students do not experience these feelings, we are here to help lighten the load by offering an S2S pal to help ease the transition.

Please let us know when you will be moving to Sheppard AFB, and we will select an S2S student who has similar interests as your child, to reach out and introduce themselves. They will tell your students about fun things to do in our area, answer any questions they may have, invite to get a coke or yogurt, and introduce them to other friends.

When you arrive, the S2S student will set a time to meet with your student and give them a tour of the campus.

Our S2S Club also has a Summer Leadership Team who offers a few socials during the summer-time to help your student get to know a few friends before school begins.
