Burkburnett ISD accepted a $5,000 check from TMobile last Friday! The Bulldog's were chosen as a winner in the TMobile Friday Night 5G Lights Contest. We are now in the running to win $25K or more!
T-Mobile rewards schools that show up, rally their community, share their story, and demonstrate how an investment could make a lasting difference for their students and hometown.
Bulldog Nation, you can help us make a difference and win 25K or more! Post your Bulldog Pride and don't forget to use #FN5GL, #entry, and tag @TMobile and @BurkburnettISD.
Thank you, @TMobile for recognizing our Bulldog Pride!

There will be no school for students as our staff takes time to learn, collaborate, and prepare for continued student success.
We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday, September 22!

Students learned about animal selection, genetics, breeding programs, herd management, and the importance of making informed decisions when selecting animals for production and performance. It was a great opportunity for students to see how the concepts we discuss in the classroom are applied in the real world.
A big thank you to Solo Select for taking the time to educate and share your knowledge with our students! We are grateful for opportunities like this that allow our students to learn, ask questions, and experience the agriculture industry firsthand.

Today, we honor the lives who were lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders and everyday heroes who demonstrated extraordinary courage in the face of tragedy. We also remember how communities came together with compassion, and a renewed sense of unity.
As we reflect and teach future generations about this important moment in history, may we continue to choose kindness, serve others, stand together, and carry forward a spirit of hope.

Leave Brennen a Good Luck message!

Join us as we recognize and celebrate our First Responders, Military personnel (past and present) and students from John G. Tower and I.C. Evans Elementary.
Pre-game festivities will include a special performance by Tower and Evans students and a field goal contest sponsored by Delcom Group.
Look for the T-Mobile tent, as they are hosting a Swag Party, featuring giveaways and a special presentation of the FN5GL Contest check to BISD!
Then, stay and cheer on our Bulldogs as they take on Ranchview in the first home game of the season!

Enjoy the long weekend, Bulldog Nation! We’ll see you back at school on Tuesday, September 8!

Congratulations to John G. Tower Elementary on earning the Texas Education Agency’s Purple Star Campus Designation!
This designation recognizes campuses committed to supporting the unique needs of military-connected students and their families. Tower Elementary met rigorous criteria, including providing a military liaison, transition support, accessible resources, and initiatives that strengthen connections with military families.

We love watching our Bulldogs get involved, try new things, and grow through hands-on learning!
That’s the Bulldog Way!
