Now in its 5th year, this special tradition is about so much more than singing. These performance opportunities are an essential part of our students' musical education, allowing them to strengthen their choral music skills, develop their confidence, practice proper concert and stage etiquette, and to grow as individual musicians and ensemble members.

Ms. Vicki’s classes had a spooktacular time making caramel, chocolate, and white chocolate apples today! 👻🍫 Students got to get creative and choose from a variety of fun candies, sprinkles, cookies, marshmallows, and other delicious toppings to make their apples uniquely their own! 🍬🍪🍭
We loved seeing everyone’s creativity shine while celebrating Halloween with this sweet hands-on activity! 🧡🖤

All students had to write, edit, and revise 3 essays each, with at least 2 paragraphs of 6 sentences each. The third essay, all students had to write independently within one class period.
Then, students had to choose their best essay and handwrite the essay on paper for display along with a Halloween them picture.
Students discovered through their writing to look at both sides of the argumentative prompts, as well as focusing on writing within a specific time limit, paragraph organization, and grammar mechanics.

Ms. Vicki’s Class had a wonderful, hands-on experience making homemade ice cream from scratch! Our talented students became flavor scientists—researching ingredients and customizing their very own personalized treats.

Burkburnett ISD is excited to introduce our 2026 Adopt-A-Bulldog Holiday Assistance Program beginning November 9!
This new initiative will connect BISD students and families (Pre-K to 12th grade) who may need additional holiday support with caring community members, local businesses, churches, organizations, and BISD staff who want to help make the holiday season a little brighter.

Completing the form simply lets us know that you are interested in being a donor or adopting multiple bulldogs! Additional information regarding the adoption process, student wish lists, donation guidelines, and important deadlines will be provided as we get closer to the program launch.
How can my child qualify? Referrals are submitted internally by BISD staff and counselors only. Families do not need to complete a form or take action unless they are contacted by the District Social Worker and invited to participate. A referral does not guarantee participation or assistance. Parent/guardian consent is required, and eligibility is determined based on established program criteria and available resources. This program is not affiliated with Angel Tree. All student and family information will be kept confidential.
