My name is Anna Black, and I am the principal of the Gateway Accelerated Academy, as well as the Disciplinary Alternative Education Program, or DAEP.
About Mrs. Black:
This school year will begin my sixteenth school year with Burkburnett ISD. During my career here, I have served the students of BISD as a paraprofessional and teacher at Burkburnett High School, assistant principal at Hardin Elementary, and teacher and principal at Gateway.
I received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies degree from Midwestern State University in 2006 and a Master of Education in Administration degree from Lamar University in 2013.
