Our Burkburnett High School welding students are putting their skills to work in ways that matter most—keeping our community safe. Under the guidance of Lead Agriculture & Science Teacher A.J. Lewis, our students recently fabricated custom door rams for our district's police officers, providing critical emergency equipment that will now be available on all six BISD campuses. This project showcases the "Bulldog Way"—where classroom learning meets real-world impact, as our students develop professional skills while serving the safety and security needs of our district.
