Mrs. McWilliams earned a master’s degree from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Texas Wesleyan University.
Throughout her career, Mrs. McWilliams has served in a variety of educational roles, including paraprofessional and substitute teacher at Burkburnett High School, adjunct professor and teaching fellow at the University of North Texas, and program director and classroom teacher in the DFW area. She has also spent many years as a private vocal and dramatic instructor.
Mrs. McWilliams chose a career in education because it combines her passion for creativity, structure, and meaningful connections with students. Drawing from her background in music and special education, she thrives on creating engaging learning experiences and helping students discover their strengths. She finds great joy in witnessing the moment when a student gains confidence, masters a new skill, or realizes their potential.
As she joins the BMS family, Mrs. McWilliams is excited to serve as a Life Skills teacher and continue supporting students in a district she knows and loves. As a Burkburnett resident and longtime member of the BISD community, she values the district’s commitment to excellence, respect, and student success. She is especially inspired by BISD’s Unified program and looks forward to contributing to a culture that fosters belonging, teamwork, and achievement for all students.

Attention Incoming 7th Grade Families: Make sure your student is ready for the 2026–2027 school year by scheduling their required Tdap and Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccinations.
For students entering 7th grade in the 2026–2027 school year, immunization requirements include a Tdap booster (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) and the Meningococcal ACWY vaccine (MCV4/MenACWY).
These vaccines are important for protecting adolescents from serious illnesses that can spread in school settings and are typically administered between the ages of 11 and 12.
Required Vaccines for 7th Grade
Tdap Booster
One dose is required for all students entering 7th grade.
This booster is often needed if five or more years have passed since the student's last tetanus-containing vaccine.
Meningococcal Vaccine (MCV4/MenACWY)
One dose is required to help protect against meningococcal disease, including meningitis.
The vaccine must be administered on or after the student's 11th birthday.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana, and later completed her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Mathematics from Black Hills State University in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Mrs. Blair Clark will teach seventh grade math at BMS. Mrs. Clark brings 10 years of experience in education, including teaching third, fourth, and fifth grades, serving as a math interventionist, and teaching seventh grade math. She chose to become an educator because of the lasting impact a special high school teacher had on her life. Through encouragement and genuine care for her education, that teacher inspired Mrs. Clark to become the same kind of supportive and caring educator for her own students.
In her spare time, Mrs. Clark enjoys reading, crafting, scrapbooking, golfing, and camping with her family and their three dogs in their pop-up camper. She also enjoys home improvement projects, whether refinishing antique furniture or repainting kitchen cabinets.
Mrs. Clark is excited to join the BISD family. Her husband currently serves in the United States Air Force and recently received orders to Sheppard Air Force Base. After researching the area, Mrs. Clark knew Burkburnett ISD was the district where she wanted both to teach and for her son to attend school. Their family looks forward to making Burkburnett their home.
