Dr. Owen will be live on the Burkburnett ISD Facebook page on Thursday, January 22, at 12:20 PM, with special guest Jody Littleton, Athletic Director and Head Football Coach.
If you have any questions for Dr. Owen, please submit them in the comment section on our Facebook post in advance, and he will address them live. Please keep all questions focused on district- or campus-level policies, processes, or facilities. Dr. Owen will not be answering questions regarding specific personnel or student situations. He will begin with a district update, followed by responses to your submitted questions. The huddle will conclude with a live Q&A, allowing participants to ask questions in real time.
Please note the daytime scheduling: Dr. Owen is filming during school hours so our video students can benefit from this hands-on learning experience. If you are unable to watch live, a replay will be available. We hope you will take the time to join these huddles and find both the information and format beneficial.
UPDATED DATE - this is the new date for the Dual Credit meeting!
Attention 8th grade parents! If you are interested in learning more about dual credit courses for incoming 9th graders. The meeting will be held at BHS.
Don't forget - we have an early release tomorrow, December 19th at 12:00 PM as we begin our Christmas break.
Please make sure your transportation and pick-up plans are in place for the early dismissal time.
