BISD would like to request help from our fans at our football games. We ask that you please pick up your trash and throw it into one of the many trashcans in the stadium. The stands were left in pretty bad shape after last Friday's game. We appreciate your attention to this at both home and away games, as we do not want to leave trash at anyone else's stadium either. Thank you!

The first phase of the track restoration has been completed. We will open the track to public use beginning today. The second phase will be the striping of the track. That will take place in the next few weeks. We will need to close the track again for that. Please keep dogs, bikes, and cleats off the track to help keep it in good shape. Mrs. Clements' 6th grade Theater Arts classes were building their nonverbal skills by acting out scenes using three words or less. Everyone was having fun with it!

Cross Country meet was Saturday morning. We had multiple relay teams that participated. Girls placed 2nd in the relay. Boys placed 1st and 2nd.

Mrs. Yeary's 7th grade ELA classes had a visitor last Friday to host for their game show!
Ms. Rhoads and our BMS Art classes are hard at work creating their bowls for the Wichita Area Food Bank and Empty Bowls Wichita Falls.
7th grade science classes integrating some fashion design into their class by designing their own lab coats!
6th grade math students are working on converting fractions to decimals. They are doing an excellent job so far!
BISD will be resurfacing our track beginning the end of this week. Our track is due for this routine maintenance in order for us to host track meets. Unfortunately, we will need to lock down the track for public use during this project. We appreciate the public's understanding.
Ms. Rhoads and our BMS Art classes had guest speakers today - Julie Nawrocki, Director of Wichita Area Food Bank and the coordinator of Empty Bowls Wichita Falls, Frances Sims. The art classes will be participating in making and donating bowls for the Food Bank.
