Congratulations to the BMS UIL Concert Choir. 12 students earned a SUPERIOR rating at their recent North Zone UIL Region 7 Vocal Solo & Ensemble competition held at WF Memorial HS. We are SO proud of their hard work to achieve this honor!!!

BMS held our 7th/8th grade award assembly this week to recognize our student's growth and academic achievements from the 1st semester. We are so proud of the hard work that our students have put in this school year. 6th grade assembly will be next week.

Mrs. Welch’s and Mrs. Yeary’s ELAR classes created sentences based off a mentor sentence from J.R.R. Tolkien’s book, The Hobbit. Their sentences focused on comma placement in sentences that begin with prepositional phrases.

The BHS varsity boys and girls soccer teams are offering the opportunity for students in grades 5-8 to serve as sideline assistants for our district home soccer games.

Our roads have shown much improvement today in town and outside of town. But it will get below freezing tonight. Therefore, BISD will have a two-hour late start for Friday, January 30th. Buses will run two hours late. First bell at 9:45 AM. This gives all of you extra time to get yourselves and your students to school safely.
We are so glad to receive our students and staff back to school!! We have missed you. Be safe in the morning and give yourselves extra time!
