🎉 Exciting news! Please join me in congratulating Laura J Estrada on her new role as a paraprofessional at Overton Ray Elementary!
Laura shares her passion for education: "I love working with students of all ages! I believe each student is unique and has their own gifts -- I enjoy helping them develop those gifts. I enjoy feeling that I am making a difference in helping to shape our future leaders."
Having previously worked as a substitute for BISD, Laura says, "I loved working with the students and the faculty/staff. Everyone is so friendly, and I look forward to working with everyone in a permanent capacity and building friendships with my colleagues."
When she's not in the classroom, Laura enjoys walking her dog Benny, traveling when possible, and trying to learn to play the guitar!
Welcome to the Overton Ray family, Laura! The students are lucky to have someone so dedicated to making a difference in their lives. 💙📚
