If you have questions for Dr. Owen, please ask them here in the comment section below in advance, and he will address them live. Please keep all questions focused on policies, processes, or facilities at the district or campus level. Dr. Owen will not be answering any questions about specific personnel or student situations.
Dr. Owen will give a district update and then answer your submitted questions, and will end the Bulldog Huddle with a live Q & A that will allow you to ask questions in real-time.


Mrs.Bentley-Stallcup looks forward to making a positive impact on the lives of students.She chose to become a paraprofessional because she is passionate about helping students succeed both academically and personally. She believes every student deserves a supportive and inclusive learning environment where they can reach their full potential.

Ms. Almendarez is excited to join the Burkburnett ISD family assisting with food service at I. C. Evans Elementary. She looks forward to serving the students, staff, and community. She enjoys cooking, baking cookies, reading, and spending quality time with her family.
Ms. Almendarez is passionate about helping others and is eager to make a positive impact by serving the Burkburnett community in any way she can. Most importantly, she looks forward to supporting students with genuine care and helping create a positive and welcoming environment where they can thrive.

Mrs. Ginger Falnes will join John G. Tower Elementary as the campus attendance clerk. She looks forward to building relationships with students, staff, and families. She enjoys painting, reading, gardening, swimming, and spending quality time with her family.

Mrs. Williams is joining the Burkburnett ISD team as a Special Education Paraprofessional at I.C. Evans Elementary School. She is excited to begin the school year and looks forward to supporting students, building meaningful relationships, and making a positive impact in the classroom each day.

Mrs. Devine will join the Bulldog Family as a bus aide. She is looking forward to this new chapter of helping create positive experiences for students. She enjoys sewing and quilting and is active in her church, where she enjoys worship services and Bible studies.

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) oversees CTE programs in Texas public secondary schools and is responsible for implementing a civil rights compliance program to identify, address, and prevent discrimination within CTE programs operated by school districts.

The new turf field behind Burkburnett Middle School is almost ready for our Bulldogs! Designed as a multi-purpose space, the field provides increased safety while creating more opportunities for all students to learn, practice, and participate throughout the school day.
The field is available for use by all student groups, giving our campuses a flexible space for athletics, physical education classes, extracurricular activities, and other student programs.
This project reflects Burkburnett ISD's commitment to the long-term success of our Bulldog community and our dedication to continuous improvement that supports student learning, wellness, and achievement.
We're excited to see our Bulldogs enjoy this new space for years to come!

Mr. Mayson Thiebaud earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Saint Mary. He is excited to work with Burkburnett ISD and become part of a great school district. He looks forward to making a positive impact on his students while continuing to grow professionally as an educator.
Outside the classroom, Mr. Thiebaud enjoys golfing, going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends. He chose to become an educator because he wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of students, just as his own teachers did for him.

Mrs.Shannon earned her bachelor's degree in History from Miami University in August 2008. She is entering her ninth year in education, with four years of teaching experience at the middle school level and four years in elementary school.
Mrs. Shannon is excited to join Burkburnett Middle School and looks forward to teaching Texas History to seventh-grade students. She is eager to build relationships with her students and help them develop a deeper appreciation for Texas history. Her goal is to inspire the next generation of learners by creating meaningful and engaging learning experiences.

Mrs. Lonewolf is excited to join Burkburnett ISD and build positive relationships with students, staff, and the community. She looks forward to creating a welcoming environment, supporting students each day, and making a positive impact as part of a team dedicated to helping every child succeed.
During her free time, Mrs. Lonewolf enjoys spending time with her family, playing video games, listening to music, reading and photography.

Mr. Graham is excited to join the Burkburnett ISD team and looks forward to working alongside new colleagues while helping provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our future leaders.
Outside of work, Mr. Graham enjoys playing the drums, especially as part of his church band. He also has a passion for collecting hats and the latest tech gadgets. When he's not pursuing his hobbies, he enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family.
