🌟 Welcome to the Burkburnett ISD Family, Ashleigh Tucker! 🌟 We are excited to introduce Ashleigh as our newest Agriculture Science Teacher! Ashleigh brings an impressive background to our team, graduating from Tarleton State University in 2012 with a degree in Agricultural Extension and Industry. With 12 years of experience as an educator and 4 years specifically teaching Agriculture Science, she's ready to make a tremendous impact on our students. Education runs in Ashleigh's family, and her passion for learning is evident. As she shares, "I come from a long line of educators, and I've always had a genuine love for school. Over the years, I've noticed that many students don't share that same enthusiasm for learning. This observation has driven my mission to help all students find success—no matter their background or the path they choose after high school." When she's not in the classroom, Ashleigh stays busy with her family raising and showing goats, playing golf with her husband, and enjoying hunting and fishing adventures. Ashleigh is enthusiastic about joining our community, saying "I'm looking forward to becoming part of a strong and supportive school community that values student growth and achievement. I'm excited to help build meaningful relationships with students, foster their interest in agriculture, and contribute to programs that not only prepare them for future careers but also instill lifelong skills and values." Please join us in giving Ashleigh a warm Burkburnett welcome! We can't wait to see how she'll inspire our students in agriculture and beyond! 🌾 Welcome aboard, Ashleigh! 🎉 #BurkburnettISD #AgricultureEducation #WelcomeToTheTeam #NewTeacher #FFA

📣 Please join us in welcoming Shayla Riggs to our I.C. Evans family! Shayla is joining our team as a paraprofessional and brings both enthusiasm and heart to our campus. In her own words, she chose this role because "I've always been passionate about helping people grow and succeed." As a mom who's experienced BISD firsthand through her own children, she's "excited to be part of the school community that's played such a big role in my own kids' education." Shayla values "giving back to a district that's supported my family so well." When not in the classroom, Shayla enjoys "reading, crafting, and singing," but her favorite creative outlet is "baking!" She loves "making fun, themed cakes" which she describes as "my favorite form of art and a sweet way to celebrate the people I love!" And yes, she's already admitted to being "very excited about the dress-up days!" 😊 Welcome to Boomtown, Shayla! We're thrilled to have you as part of our educational family. #BoomtownProud #WelcomeToTheTeam #ICEvansElementary
