Mr. Lewis is a CTE Welding Instructor at BHS. "I believe that our ability to train and certify on-site without students ever needing to step foot in a technical college is an amazing aspect of my program. We are also versatile in the fact that we can fabricate so many objects in-house with BISD equipment. That gives us the edge!"
Career and Technical Education (CTE) plays a vital role at BHS and schools across Texas by preparing students for success beyond graduation through hands-on learning and skill development.
Our CTE instructors bring valuable experience from their respective industries to share with students. BHS offers a wide variety of CTE programs designed to help students explore career pathways and develop workforce-ready skills. Learn more about our CTE opportunities on our website.
