🌞 Hello Summer! 🌞
School's out and summer is officially here! After a fantastic year of learning and growing, it's time for our students, teachers, and staff to enjoy a well-deserved break. Whether you're heading to the beach, exploring new hobbies, or just relaxing at home, we hope your summer is filled with fun, adventure, and lots of sunshine.

Please notice change in time and location

Due to the weather forecast for this week, we will be moving graduation. Our BHS Graduation will now take place at the Kay Yeager Coliseum and Multi-Purpose Events Center in Wichita Falls located at 1000 5th St. Graduation will still be this Friday, but THERE WILL BE A NEW TIME. GRADUATION WILL NOW START AT 7:00 PM.
There will be no restrictions on how many family members can attend. So again, Graduation will be held Friday, May 31st at 7:00 PM at the Kay Yeager Coliseum in Wichita Falls. Senior students must report no later than 6:00 PM.
The high school will send out more info to senior students and parents throughout the week.

No school on Memorial Day, May 27th. Let's take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our country. Enjoy the day with family and friends, and reflect on the true meaning of this important holiday.

Don't forget, Dr. Owen will be LIVE TONIGHT at 6 PM! He also has some special guests you don't want to miss! Tune in to see who it is!
As a way to continue to provide opportunities for our community to provide feedback to our school district and superintendent, we will be hosting periodic town hall meetings through Facebook Live. We encourage you to submit your questions in advance by commenting on this FB post. Please keep all questions focused on policies, processes, or facilities at the district or campus level. Dr. Owen will not be answering any questions about specific personnel or student situations. Dr. Owen will give a district update and then answer your submitted questions. Dr. Owen will end the town hall with a live Q & A that will allow you to ask questions in real-time. We hope you will take the time to join in on these town halls and we hope you find the information and format beneficial.

Students, for those who ordered a 2024 yearbook before May 20th, your autograph inserts are in. Please stop by the yearbook table in Senior Hall now through May 23 from 10:30-1:30.
If you are unable to pick yours up at that time, please see Mrs. Methvin in room 30.

Unfortunately, there has been a delay in Balfour's print and production schedule, which has impacted the timeline for our yearbook delivery. As a result, we now anticipate that the yearbooks will be shipped out on June 19 and are expected to reach us by June 26.
To ensure that students who have already purchased a yearbook have the opportunity to collect autographs from their peers before the end of the school year, we have ordered autograph inserts that are scheduled to arrive before the school year concludes. These inserts can be added to the yearbooks once they arrive, allowing students the chance to personalize their yearbooks with special messages from friends and classmates.
For those who have not yet ordered, you may still purchase a yearbook at this time. They are $80, and you can pay with cash or a check made out to BHS Yearbook.
Everyone will have a chance to pick up their books this summer or at the start of school if you are unable to attend the distribution day in July.
Thank you!
Kayci Methvin
