Mark your calendars! Tune in for Dr. Owen's live broadcast for our final Bulldog Huddle of the 2023-2024 School Year, happening on Tuesday, May 21st at 6 PM on our Burkburnett ISD Facebook Page. As a way to continue to provide opportunities for our community to provide feedback to our school district and superintendent, we will be hosting periodic town hall meetings through Facebook Live. We encourage you to submit your questions in advance by replying to the email associated with the post or comment on the FB post. Please keep all questions focused on policies, processes, or facilities at the district or campus level. Dr. Owen will not be answering any questions about specific personnel or student situations. Dr. Owen will give a district update and then answer your submitted questions. Dr. Owen will end the town hall with a live Q & A that will allow you to ask questions in real-time. We hope you will take the time to join in on these town halls and we hope you find the information and format beneficial.

BHS Guard Auditions are this week!!!

ATTENTION: We are having problems with drivers driving around our buses when they are stopped to pick up or drop of our students. When a bus is stopped with its flashers on and stop signs and arm extended, it is illegal to drive around them. Please stop and wait for the bus to resume its route. We conducted a random test of this last Thursday. We had 19 people drive around our buses while the flashers were on and students were being dropped off. This is extremely dangerous and is going to result in a student getting hit. We are notifying the local police department of this issue and violators run the risk of being pulled over and ticketed. We ask you to please be patient and wait for our buses to resume their routes. A student getting hurt or killed is not worth a couple of minutes. Thank you for your help in this matter.
