BHS Career Fair
Today we celebrate the incredible care, compassion, and dedication our school nurses bring to our Burkburnett ISD campuses every single day.
Dr. Owen will be LIVE on our Burkburnett ISD Facebook page Monday, May 11th at 12:20 PM. If you have questions for Dr. Owen, please ask them here in the comment section below in advance, and he will address them live. Please keep all questions focused on policies, processes, or facilities at the district or campus level. Dr. Owen will not be answering any questions about specific personnel or student situations.
Dr. Owen will give a district update and then answer your submitted questions, and will end the Bulldog Huddle with a live Q & A that will allow you to ask questions in real-time.
Please note the daytime scheduling: Dr. Owen is filming during school hours so that our video students can benefit from this hands-on learning experience. If you can't watch live, you can always catch the replay. We hope you will take the time to join us!

We are excited to announce BHS Bulldog Camp for incoming 9th graders and all new to BHS students, will be July 29! Bulldog Camp is a great way to learn about BHS traditions, programs, clubs and so much more! A parent forum will be held from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
BHS students are invited to join us May 15 for our annual Career Fair! Visit with representatives from local companies, military, and higher education.

BISD and the Board of Trustees would like to say a big THANK YOU to our community and to our supporters who live outside of Burkburnett for voting to pass our bond propositions. In order for school districts to thrive and provide kids with the best educational experiences possible, you have to have a community that buys in and shows up when needed. Great schools don’t exist without a great community. We are blessed to have that here in Burkburnett in a big way!
Thank you to our community group who worked hard to determine the projects to be included in the bond. And thank you to Josh Andrajack and all his personal efforts on the bond.

Tomorrow, April 29th, the ALGEBRA I STAAR EOC will take place at 7:50AM at BHS. Students need to bring a fully charged Chromebook. . Students enrolled in an Algebra I class will take the test. If your student is unsure there will be a room assignment list in the English wing tomorrow morning for them to check. Have a wonderful evening and get some rest!
