These outstanding student-athletes and trainers have demonstrated excellence both on the field and in the classroom! To achieve this honor, they maintained a GPA of 92 or above, were athletes/trainers in good standing with the team, displayed good moral character, and exemplified what it means to be a Burkburnett Bulldog.

We also want to recognize both of our scholarship applicants—two outstanding students who continuously show grit, determination, and a competitive spirit in everything they do, Dani Williams and Kennedy Smith. We are proud of all their efforts and commitment to excellence.
Just wanted to share the success of our band students that attended ATSSB Region 7 Band Auditions last Saturday. Of the 28 students that attended, 21 made the Region Band with 12 qualifying for the Area Level of competition. In addition, we have 5 first alternates for Area and 4-2nd alternates. Very proud of everyone that auditioned!

We are incredibly proud to announce that our very own Burkburnett Bulldog, Brayden Marsh has officially committed to play baseball at Seward County Community College!
Brayden will be signing on Monday, December 8th at 10:20 am in the BHS rotunda, and will play for former Blacksox coach Mike Davidson.

Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation (WFACF) is home to more than 50 Scholarship Funds! Our Universal Application allows students to apply for most eligible scholarships with only one application. Graduating high school seniors and currently enrolled college students are encouraged to apply! Applications must be submitted by February 1st at midnight.
Please join us at Region 9 ESC on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 9 AM-2 PM for an engaging day designed for high school juniors and seniors who hope to pursue a career in education.
The SparkEd Future Educators Conference will feature:
Inspirational keynote speaker will share insights into the impactful world of education
Breakout sessions to offer students firsthand perspectives from current educators in a variety of fields, representatives from the Future Coaches Association of Texas, plus more!
Scholarship opportunities for 12th-grade students to support their journey toward becoming educators
