This message is to inform you that out of an abundance of caution, Burkburnett High School will allow student drivers to leave at 2:45 PM today (Friday, 1/23/26). All other students will be released at regular dismissal time unless parent/guardians pick up or sign out their student(s) before 3:30 PM. Please travel safely and stay warm.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Burkburnett Lady Bulldogs' own Camilla Diaz has committed to continue her academic and soccer career at Mid-America Christian University! 🦅⚽
Camilla will be joining the MACU Evangels soccer program, competing at the NAIA level in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

Dr. Owen will be live on the Burkburnett ISD Facebook page on Thursday, January 22, at 12:20 PM, with special guest Jody Littleton, Athletic Director and Head Football Coach.
If you have any questions for Dr. Owen, please submit them in the comment section on our Facebook post in advance, and he will address them live. Please keep all questions focused on district- or campus-level policies, processes, or facilities. Dr. Owen will not be answering questions regarding specific personnel or student situations. He will begin with a district update, followed by responses to your submitted questions. The huddle will conclude with a live Q&A, allowing participants to ask questions in real time.
Please note the daytime scheduling: Dr. Owen is filming during school hours so our video students can benefit from this hands-on learning experience. If you are unable to watch live, a replay will be available. We hope you will take the time to join these huddles and find both the information and format beneficial.
