6th grade Robotics classes are having robot battles. Their robots either had to flip over their opponent's robot or push them out of the square. They are doing amazing work and having fun at the same time!

Who can join? Ages 2nd - 12th Grade (Fall 2024)
Sessions Offered:
Lil' Kids Camp (Ages 2nd-4th): 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM (Games & Skills) - $25.00
Midday Session (Ages 5th-12th): 9:30 AM - Noon (Skills & Drills) - $65.00
Afternoon Session (Ages 5th-12th): 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM (Play-Pro/Match Play) - $25.00

Yesterday, we celebrated our amazing paraprofessionals! We are so thankful for all of their hard work and dedication to our students!

At last night's School Board meeting, we were able to honor some of our amazing Teachers and Staff. We recognized our Campus Teachers of the Year. These outstanding educators were selected by their peers and colleagues as their much-deserving representatives for their respective campuses. The Teachers of the Year for 2024 are: IC Evans: Brittany Boyd John Tower: Amber Reitz Overton Ray: Rachel Moxley Burkburnett Middle School: Robin McAdams Burkburnett High School: Robyn Little Gateway Accelerated Academy: Tiffany Gunnels We also recognized a couple of our other departments. Our Transportation Dept announced our dedicated Bus Driver of the Year, Maddison Hickman. We also honored the leadership team in our Child Nutrition Department for passing our major audit with no issues! Those honored were Child Nutrition Director Deb Welch and her two main assistants Pam Cravens and Rosalinda Dominguez. All of these employees and colleagues are the epitome of The Bulldog Way, and we couldn't be the district we are without them.
There will be no school Friday, March 29th and Monday, April 1st. These days are designated as bad weather make-up days on the school calendar. Our Unified athletes are practicing and gearing up for their upcoming track meet! #TheBulldogWay
Join us Wednesday, March 27th at the Burkburnett High School track for the Unified Track Meet. Opening ceremonies will start at 9:30 am and events will follow at 10 am. All Unified track teams from each school at Burkburnett ISD will be participating.
This is just a reminder that tomorrow is a teacher work day. School will resume Tuesday, March 19th.
