Hello all! This is an important message sharing a lot of information on upcoming events.
Big things to read over and watch for are Bulldog Bash on October 22nd, Book Fair & Red Ribbon Week will take place on October 26th - 29th, Halloween Celebrations are on October 29th, and Golden Shoe has been rescheduled for November 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Please watch for Halloween Party times which will be posted by the end of the week. We'll also have an updated Golden Shoe schedule by the end of the week.
Reminder, Parent / Teacher Conferences are Tuesday, October 13th. Please make sure you contact your teacher to schedule a time to meet if you choose. Attached to this email is also our 2026-2027 Grade Policy. We've added some informaton for clarification purposes. Please reach out to your student's teacher if you have questions.

We regret to inform you we will need to postpone our Golden Shoe event due to inclement weather. Golden Shoe is a competitive event and we would not be able to replicate the same size course indoors due to space constraints. We're looking at rescheduling for November 3rd, 4th, and 5th, but we will make a final decision on the date this week. Despite our disappointment of the delay, we're so thankful for the rain.

This is a reminder of our Golden Shoe event next week. Please see the attached graphic to see what day and time your student's class will participate in Golden Shoe. We highly recommend coming by early to get a Fast Pass so you don't have to wait in line to get into the school the day of the event. See you all soon and bring your walking shoes!
Attached to this email is information about our Title I Parent Meeting. This is an optional meeting for those who are interested in learning more about Title I programs and resources. The meeting will take place in the I.C. Evans cafeteria.

Free & Reduced Meal Applications for the 2026–2027 school year are due Wednesday, September 23.
The district will be completing a system rollover. Students who received free or reduced-price meals last year but do not have an approved application for the 2026–2027 school year will be moved to the paid meal status and charged accordingly.
This applies only to families who have not yet completed an application for the 2026–2027 school year.
