We are off to a wonderful start! I wanted to take a moment to let you know that we will not be accepting outside visitors during lunch until August 31st. The reason for this is so students can learn the cafeteria procedures and get used to the cafeteria setting. Parents coming mid-day too early can cause confusion and tears with the realization that the school day is not over and the student isn't going home with the parent. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to welcoming you after August 31st.

We are very excited to see you all at Meet the Teacher tomorrow, Monday August 10th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. In preparation for the first day of school, which is Wednesday, August 12th, we wanted to share the arrival and dismissal procedures one more time. Please keep in mind that dismissal will take longer than usual the first week of school due to our students learning the procedures and our staff ensuring safety of all students. Dismissal will become more efficient after a few weeks. Thank you for your patience, support, and understanding.

This is a reminder that Meet the Teacher for I.C. Evans Elementary is Monday, August 10th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Students are encouraged to bring their supplies that day to leave in the classroom. Classroom teacher lists will be available to view on Skyward that day as well as posted on the front doors at 9:00AM. We can't wait to see you all at Meet the Teacher! Have a wonderful weekend!

Ms. Almendarez is excited to join the Burkburnett ISD family assisting with food service at I. C. Evans Elementary. She looks forward to serving the students, staff, and community. She enjoys cooking, baking cookies, reading, and spending quality time with her family.
Ms. Almendarez is passionate about helping others and is eager to make a positive impact by serving the Burkburnett community in any way she can. Most importantly, she looks forward to supporting students with genuine care and helping create a positive and welcoming environment where they can thrive.
