Thank you to our community group who worked hard to determine the projects to be included in the bond. And thank you to Josh Andrajack and all his personal efforts on the bond.
Our kids will benefit from this bond election in many ways for years to come. In turn, those same students will benefit the community of Burkburnett when they graduate.
Again, from all of us in BISD and from the School Board, we say THANK YOU!!

Today we recognize the dedicated cafeteria staff who work behind the scenes to keep our students nourished and ready to learn. From early mornings to busy lunch lines, your hard work and kindness do not go unnoticed.
Thank you for making a difference each and every day!

“Brittany Andrajack embodies The Bulldog Way in both her leadership style and actions every day. Her focus on compassion and leading with kindness is the perfect match for our youngest Bulldogs at I.C. Evans Elementary. Under her leadership, our I.C. Evans team will continue to build upon the positive culture of growth and learning established with our students and staff,” said Dr. Audrey Ash, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction.
Mrs. Andrajack has two children in the BISD school system. Sawyer is a seventh grader, and Leighton, is a fourth grader. She and her husband, Jake, will celebrate 15 years of marriage in June. She has served BISD for 16 years, 13 as a teacher and three as an assistant principal. A 2005 graduate of Burkburnett High School, she earned her bachelor’s degree from Midwestern State University in 2010 and her master’s degree from Lamar University in 2017. As a Burkburnett alumna, Mrs. Andrajack is deeply invested in the Bulldog community.
“I’m eager to serve the students, staff, and parents at I.C. Evans Elementary. I’m passionate about education and dedicated to this community. I look forward to what the future holds,” stated Mrs. Andrajack.

Burkburnett ISD is pleased to announce that Dr. Angela Rooney will serve as Principal of Overton Ray Elementary starting in the 2026–27 school year. Dr. Rooney currently serves as the principal of I.C. Evans Elementary.

Q: Can I vote on both propositions separately?
A: Yes. Voters should record their vote in each of the propositions on the ballot. Click the
link to the Bond Propositions page. https://www.burkburnettisd.org/o/bisd/page/2026-bond-propositions
Proposition A focuses on upgrading facilities across Burkburnett ISD. The proposition includes career and technical education with a complete CTE wing renovation at the high school, upgrades safety through new fire alarm and camera systems district-wide, and improves student spaces with auditorium upgrades, restroom renovations, playground shade structures, and locker room improvements. Additional funds would support parking lot enhancements, physical education facilities, and new transportation vehicles.
Proposition B proposes a new Multi-Purpose Indoor Activity Center at the north end of the football stadium. This climate-controlled facility would provide year-round training space for band, athletics, ROTC, and our elementary schools. The project also includes a new girls' soccer locker room.

Thank you for all you do for our students, staff, and Bulldog family.
