Out of an abundance of caution due to the anticipated winter storm expected to begin Friday, we have decided to reschedule the Glow Dance to January 30.
If you have already purchased tickets and are able to attend on the new date, no action is needed—your tickets will automatically transfer. If you are unable to attend on January 30, please contact us, and we will be happy to issue you a refund.
Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to celebrating with you soon!

Dr. Owen will be live on the Burkburnett ISD Facebook page on Thursday, January 22, at 12:20 PM, with special guest Jody Littleton, Athletic Director and Head Football Coach.
If you have any questions for Dr. Owen, please submit them in the comment section on our Facebook post in advance, and he will address them live. Please keep all questions focused on district- or campus-level policies, processes, or facilities. Dr. Owen will not be answering questions regarding specific personnel or student situations. He will begin with a district update, followed by responses to your submitted questions. The huddle will conclude with a live Q&A, allowing participants to ask questions in real time.
Please note the daytime scheduling: Dr. Owen is filming during school hours so our video students can benefit from this hands-on learning experience. If you are unable to watch live, a replay will be available. We hope you will take the time to join these huddles and find both the information and format beneficial.

Incredible teaching right here! 4th graders are finding the total area of composite models which can he very abstract. We did the Lead4ward strategy called Pair-Square-Share. Students pair with someone that feels strongly about the skill. They discuss the problem and solve it. Then, they square with another pair to share the steps they took to solve. Lastly, the class comes back together. The teacher picks a student to solve problem on the board. Students repeat process with new problem! Starting Monday morning strong in Mrs. Dimock's class!

The Ukulele Club had their first-ever performance last night at the MSU Fantasy of Lights! It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to show off all the hard work they've put in this semester. They did a great job performing and representing Tower Elementary in our community. Congratulations to the Ukulele Club students on a job well-done! When walking down our 4th grade hallway, one notices beautifully decorated elves! Look closely at the happy faces! Our wonderful 4th grade teachers have intentionally encouraged our students to “feel” the spirit of the Christmas season with their festive and happy decorations! If we think about it, teachers are custodians of culture and spirit, especially during festive seasons. Mrs.McMath, Ms. Hudson, Mrs. Dimock and Mrs. Lemons, thank you for your vital role in translating the abstract concepts of joy, generosity and goodwill into fun lessons for our students!

Our beautiful students continue to find joy in dropping coins in our "Faith Mission Box," to help those who may need a hot meal or bed overnight. Thank you Carter and Carsen for delivering the contents of our Faith Mission Box, which was $43, to Steve Sparks, the Director of Faith Mission yesterday afternoon. We now have an empty box in the gym and will continue to leave it there the entire year to teach the children compassion, even with small amounts of change or dollars!
