Our 3rd Graders had a Spooky Challenge today in STEM Club with Mrs. Blue. Students were challenged with designing the longest and strongest bone bridge! We discussed the structure and function of different materials that provide stability to allow their bridge to stand (just like our bones help provide our bodies structure).

Mrs. Blue's 2nd Grade STEM Club is off to a wonderful start! Students learned that spiders can regrow an entire leg! We connected this to the medical field and the use of prosthetics. Our design challenge was to help create a new leg for Frank the Spider. I think we have some future medical engineers in our class!

Kindergarten students read, wrote and represented numbers 0-9 in math today! Each student had their own pizza and toppings! Students had to read the numeral, place the correct amount of toppings on the pizza and write the numeral on a white board! Huge shoutout to Pizza Hut for our kindergarten donations of the personal pan pizza boxes for our lesson today! We even got a pretty special treat of cheese pizza that we got to eat afterwards!🍕🖤🧡

"Service above self." With no benefit to themselves, Mr. Billy and Mr. Scaling stayed very late yesterday to help set up the sound system for Golden Shoe Day today. I'm honored to know them both!

Our Bravehearts got messy this morning! They each were able to tie dye their own shirt, which we will use for future events. It was all hands-on deck- and we are so proud of our older Bravehearts as they stepped up to help our younger students.

Announcement for Friday night!! This Friday is Homecoming and we know our stadium will be packed with Bulldog fans and Alumni, and we cannot wait to host you. With that being said, our stadium was left trashy at our first two home games. We are asking for your cooperation in please making sure you and your kids throw trash away in one of the many trash receptacles all over the stadium. We have a beautiful stadium and we would like to keep it that way. Please work to be an example of The Bulldog Way for your kids and for those around you. We thank you for your cooperation in this request. Go Bulldogs!
