Leadership at its finest right here! We begin every day in P.E. with our "Leadership words for world peace." One of the sentences the students repeat is "YOU go first!" Yesterday, when we were changing squads and passing out prizes for the winning squad for doing the right thing, 2nd grader Colton let everyone ELSE in his squad choose a prize before himself! Colton, this is the #BulldogWay and you inspire all of us with your goodness!

Check out these amazing graphs and students! 👟
Mrs. Rasch’s Kindergarten Class has been learning about real object and picture graphs.
They used their own shoes and sorted them into the appropriate categories. Then they made a picture graph to represent the data from the real object graph! 🥾

Join Dr. Owen live, March 4th at 6 PM on our Burkburnett ISD Facebook Page. As a way to continue to provide opportunities for our community to provide feedback to our school district and superintendent, we will be hosting periodic town hall meetings through Facebook Live. Please keep all questions focused on policies, processes, or facilities at the district or campus level. Dr. Owen will not be answering any questions about specific personnel or student situations. Dr. Owen will give a district update and then answer your submitted questions. Dr. Owen will end the town hall with a live Q & A that will allow you to ask questions in real-time. We hope you will take the time to join in on these town halls and we hope you find the information and format beneficial.

Reminder: All students will have this Friday and Monday off due to a teacher work day and the Presidents' Day holiday. Enjoy your four day weekend!

Tower's 2nd grade STEM Club: Today students were tasked with the challenge to designed their very own football goal that could stand on its own. There were several students who beat Mrs. Blue building and testing out their prototype!

Kindergarten students blew down the house with their amazing puppet show readers theatre performance of The 3 Little Pigs!🐷🐷🐷🐺
Kindergarten students identified all story elements of The 3 Little Pigs and retold the plot. Kindergarten students also collaborated together to create their own props, backdrop and puppets! We are so very proud of them for all of their hard work and glad they got to perform for their peers, parents, and BISD administration! 🖤🧡

Several 3rd graders have recently seen the fruits of their right actions come true by choosing GaGa Ball to play at recess. GaGa ball is a game of honesty first, quick feet and lots of FUN! It brought much joy to my heart to notice the excellent sportsmanship these students exhibited!

Mrs. Bukowski's sweethearts made Place Value hearts, Love Bugs, and Hearts for Valentines Day! Mrs. Bukowski is a kind and loving teacher who brings out the very best in her students!

Kindergarten celebrated the 100th day of school today by dressing up like we were 100 and doing fun 100 day activities! 👵🏼👴🏼💯

Leo was absent when the photo was taken for the winners of the 30 day Fitness Challenge. Leo's happy face says it all!

Burkburnett ISD wants to recognize and celebrate all of our amazing counselors. Our counselors are tasked with doing more than they ever have before. They do a tremendous job of not only supporting our students and staff, but our entire district. They exemplify The Bulldog Way, and we would not be who we are without them. Thank you Counselors!!!

This Thursday, Feb. 8th, all students will have early release at 12:00. We are hosting both elementary and middle school UIL in Burkburnett ISD.

Congratulations to Karina, Colton, Aubrie and Leo (not pictured) who won the giant beach balls this morning! Their names were randomly chosen in a drawing from amongst the students who completed January's home fitness challenge! Congratulations to all students who participated in this challenge of staying healthy during one of the coldest months of the year!

These amazing students spent time as Mrs. Cluley's PE helper during the month of January, due to their cashing in of dojo points! Each enjoyed wearing the lanyard with a whistle!
