Students in Tower Elementary's third grade STEM Club completed an experiment to determine which recipe works best as a substitute for snow. Students had to use their prior knowledge to determine which of the two recipes work best to mimic the texture and consistency of snow. Based on student research, they determined that shaving cream works better than using conditioner when mixed with baking soda to produce fake snow. ❤️

7th ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARADE OF HOMES

Children just seem to have an innate ability to share, and their smiles indicate much happiness in doing so! Here's a friendly reminder to fill the bags that were sent home!

Dear Tower Parents and Guardians,
This is a wonderful opportunity to support an annual community event.

Thank you to the Veterans of our armed forces for all that you have done for our great nation!

No School Monday. HONORING ALL WHO SERVED!

The excitement is brewing for our Veteran's Day music program today! Thank you Mrs. Vivio for all of your hard work!

Dear Tower Parents and Guardians,
Hope to see you on Friday, November 8, 2024 for the Veterans Day Program.

Mrs. Potts' Pre-K3 students are enjoying the newly painted hopscotch and pathway on the south playground! Pre-K and Kinder want to offer our biggest thanks to all the volunteers who worked so hard on this project for our students!

Mrs. Horschler's Pre-K students were fully immersed into the world of community workers this week. Their centers were transformed into construction sites, doctor's offices, hair salons, police stations, and other various community workplaces. I think I need to make an appointment at the hair salon soon! :)

Dear Tower Parents and Guardians,

Don't forget, this Friday is a teacher workday! Enjoy your three day weekend!

Dear Tower Parents and Guardians,
Please join us for a special Veterans Day Program to honor our veterans.

Breakfast and lunch menu for November 2024.

Ms. Miller's Pre-K4 Class used their senses to explore a pumpkin while carving a jack-o-lantern. Not everyone was brave enough to feel the ooey-gooey insides, but all thoroughly enjoyed the activity!

Student 2 Student members were privileged to meet some of SAFB’s Honor Guard. SSgt Dinicola, SSgt Villasenor, and A1C Fisher taught S2S members to properly fold and display the United States of America Flag. Additionally, our members learned the duties and responsibilities of the Honor Guard, the ideals symbolized by the 13 folds, and that the Flag represents home to our military men and women all over the world.
The Airmen answered lots of great questions from our S2S members. Student 2 Student could not be more proud of our military and their families, their sacrifices, and their willingness to share their experiences with Tower students.
Your dedication to teaching the next generation is truly appreciated.

Accentuating right behaviors!
Here are a few students who redeemed their dojo points and earned the privilege of eating lunch up on the stage in the cafeteria!

Next week is our annual Red Ribbon Week! Here are our dress up days.

Dear Tower Parents and Guardians,
Our nurse's office is in need of clothing donations for our students.
If you have any clothing to spare, please drop it off at the school office.
Thank you for your support.
