As a way to continue to provide opportunities for our community to provide feedback to our school district and superintendent, we will be hosting periodic town hall meetings through Facebook Live. We encourage you to submit your questions in advance by commenting on this FB post. Please keep all questions focused on policies, processes, or facilities at the district or campus level. Dr. Owen will not be answering any questions about specific personnel or student situations. Dr. Owen will give a district update and then answer your submitted questions. Dr. Owen will end the town hall with a live Q & A that will allow you to ask questions in real-time. We hope you will take the time to join in on these town halls and we hope you find the information and format beneficial.

Here are the themes for all of our varsity football games for the 2024 season. We would love to see everyone join in on the fun this year. BISD would like to make sure everyone knows about the Yellow-Rose Sertoma Club's Project Back to School event to be held on July 27 at Overton Ray from 9-11 am. Burkburnett ISD is excited to welcome Marcelo Campolino as our new Head Girls Soccer Coach! Coach Campolino has 19 years of experience coaching at the youth, high school, and D1 /D2 collegiate levels. He has served as an assistant coach for the Midwestern State University men's and women's soccer teams as well as the Northern Illinois University men's soccer team. Additionally, he was the head coach for U-14/U-15 boys and U-14/U-19 girls competitive soccer teams for six years, a volunteer assistant coach for the Falls Town Flyers, and has served as an assistant and head soccer coach at various international schools. In addition to his exceptional coaching experience Coach Campolino also has a Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology and has earned various certifications in sports functional training, injury prevention, Functional Movement Systems, personal training, weightlifting, physical education, and sports nutrition. Additionally, he has coached several other high school sports. Coach Campolino is married to Roana and has a 10 year old daughter. We are confident that Coach Campolino will help our athletes soar to new levels with his expertise and dedication to youth. We are looking forward to seeing what our Lady Bulldogs are able to accomplish under his leadership! Let's give Coach Campolino a warm Burkburnett welcome!
