Shout out to our BHS Volleyball team!! They engaged in a Scavenger Hunt yesterday to collect needed food items for our local Grace Ministries. The team collected 204 lbs for the cause. Thank you for setting such a great example and for showing how great our students are in BISD!

BISD will be resurfacing our track beginning the end of this week. Our track is due for this routine maintenance in order for us to host track meets. Unfortunately, we will need to lock down the track for public use during this project. We appreciate the public's understanding.

At about 2:50 this afternoon a fire alarm went off at the high school. All rooms were checked and the school was cleared for re-entry. I just wanted to keep everyone informed in case they saw the firetruck and the ambulance at the school. No one was injured.

There are 3 entrances for students in the morning at BHS. These are the front door, the back cafeteria door, and the gym parking lot (North door). The cafeteria door will open at 7:00. The other doors will open at 7:20. Thanks for your patience.

Due to the extreme heat projected for Thursday, the home football scrimmage times have changed.
JV teams will play at 7 pm with the Varsity following at 8:30 pm.

Good afternoon BHS parents. We are so excited to see our students tomorrow. I want to go over a few things before school starts. The only students allowed to see a counselor tomorrow are those without a schedule or those missing a class period. Please be patient as we are working on schedules for new students. The counselors will be working on the schedule changes as fast as they can. Remember schedule changes are made based on need not want.
Do not send medication to school with your student. Contact our nurse Lisa Boatman for more information.
Chrome book fees for the new year are $25.00. This can be paid at the front office by check or cash. Credit card payments can be made online.

Congratulations to our Lady Bulldogs Volleyball team with a clean sweep of City View in the first match of the season!! Way to battle!
