Trenton earned enough Bark Points to be the office helper on this very busy Friday morning. He helped sign visitors into the building, assisted with mail distribution, ran copies, and made sure our administrators received important messages.

John Tower Elementary is very fortunate to serve many military families. We consider it an honor and a privilege. Today, under the direction of our amazing music teacher Mrs. Jill Vivio, our students honored our veterans in patriotic songs. The children's happy voices brought joy and honor to our Veterans, and made our families proud!

Mrs. Vivio's class explored how sound is created by vibrations today! Because we can’t usually see sound waves, students conducted an experiment to make them visible. Using tuning forks and a bowl of water, students learned how vibrations travel through different materials. Some students discovered that hitting the tuning fork harder created stronger vibrations—so strong that they caused water to splash out of the bowl! What an amazing lesson, Mrs. Vivio!

In Ms. Underwood's phonics lesson, students previewed two new letters: P and L, with the focus letter being N! Fun on a Friday afternoon!
Our Unified students tossed scarves to "Take me out to the Ballpark," and had fun moving to music in the gym this morning!
EDUCATION at its FINEST right here! Ms. Hudson's 4th graders wrote the most amazing Halloween stories with illustrations! They are posted inside the 4th grade hallway, and are a joy to read! According to 4th grader Jaidyn, "The students had to pick what type of text structure they wanted. Then, they had to plan out their writing on a planner. Next, the students had to type out their story in Google Classroom. Afterwards, students had to color code their story to see if we were missing anything. Then, students went on Canva to create pictures that went with their story! Finally, the students hung their stories in the hallways so everyone could see our hard work!" Well done Ms. Hudson and 4th graders!
