Dress Code Guide
The following students participated in the Red River Regional Science Fair this past Friday, February 13th. Yan Rodriguez Vega won 2nd overall (runner up for international competition) and 2nd place life science. He also won special awards from the USAF , the Regeneron biomedical science award (that comes with a $350 cash prize) He also has won the right to participate in the Texas State Science Fair. Miranda Gutierrez won 3rd overall and 1st place in physical science. She also won special awards from the USAF. She also has won the right to participate in the Texas State Science Fair. Alliyah Oborny and Malik Johnson won 4th overall and 2nd place in physical science. This team also has won the right to participate in the Texas State Science Fair. The science fair projects are available for viewing in senior hall of Burkburnett High School.

This was the first year (as far as I know) that we have had any guitar ensembles perform in the UIL Solo and Ensemble Competition. We had three groups perform:

The guitar trio consisting of Isabel Brantley, Kaylee Green, Kylie Smith received an excellent rating.

The guitar trio consisting of Tripp Willis, Preston Walls, and Morgan Snay received an excellent rating.

The guitar quartet consisting of Tripp Willis, Morgan Snay, Railey Moon, and Jesse Acheson received a superior rating and will be participating in the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Competition in May.

We are very proud of all students who participated and acknowledge the hard work and time they put into learning this music.
